Requirements

The holders of a federal certificate of proficiency (EFZ) or an ID recognized as equivalent are admitted to the vocational baccalaureate course (EBMP). Persons with a foreign ID card for whom the EFZ has been recognized as equivalence by the SBFI are also admitted.

In order to ensure that this is the right way for the students, we carry out a location assessment with all interested parties.

The Federal Vocational High School Certificate (Orientation of Health & Social Affairs) attests that the university of applied sciences study maturity. You acquire comprehensive skills in advanced general education. The attainment of language skills at the vocational baccalaureate level makes it easier for you both to study a technical college and to complete other language certificates.

The completion of the federally recognized vocational maturity examination (EBMP) enables the students to study at all Swiss universities of applied sciences.

The vocational baccalaureate with the orientation of health & Social affairs optimally prepares you for studying at universities of applied sciences in the healthcare sector or in the social sector and opens the doors to you for studies such as social work, psychology or physiotherapy.

With the graduation from the vocational baccalaureate, the entrance exam to a Swiss university and ETH is also possible via Passerelle of the Academic Gateway.

The vocational baccalaureate examinations are carried out by the federal high school commission (SBFI). Attested language skills from at least B1 level can be credited.
