This one-year online high school course prepares you optimally for the successful taking of the eidg. matriculation examination.
As part of this digital course, you will receive the same supervision, teaching lessons and interaction options as our local students.

Requirements
For the Federal Matura, the students must be at least 18 years old. In addition, in addition to high resilience and perseverance, in-depth language skills in German, English and another national language (French or Italian) and basic knowledge of mathematics are among the necessary basic skills.
In order to ensure that this is the right way for the students, we will carry out a location assessment with all interested parties in advance.

The completion of the Federal Maturity examination enables the students to study at all Swiss universities, technical colleges or higher technical schools in Switzerland.
At the Academic Gateway, all students will take the two-part exam. The first partial examination takes place after the first, the second partial examination after the second semester and is carried out by the Federal Maturity Commission.
language certificate
During school, all students have the opportunity to take a diploma examination in English or in the second national language. The language certificate is internationally recognized.
Free repetition
The Academic Gateway grants students who, despite a attendance rate of at least 95% and the proof of performance of 100%, failed the exam, a complete free repetition.
