To be admitted to the IB Diploma Programme, candidates must be motivated, committed to the curriculum and enthusiastic about global education.
Interviews and, if necessary, entrance examinations are used to reliably and thoroughly assess suitability for the programme.
To ensure the best possible fit for each student, we conduct an in-depth counselling interview – together with parents or guardians and the Academic Gateway pedagogical team. This partnership approach ensures that the timetable is specifically tailored to the requirements of university entrance.
To ensure that this is the right path for students, we carry out an assessment with all prospective students.

After completing the vocational baccalaureate, it is also possible to take the entrance examination for a Swiss university and the ETH via the Academic Gateway passerelle. The vocational baccalaureate examinations take place after the second semester and are organised by the Federal Baccalaureate Commission (SERI). Certified language skills from at least B1 level can be recognised.
