After successfully completing the federal examination, the doors to study at every university, technical college or higher technical school in Switzerland are open to you.
This one-year full-time high school course prepares you optimally for the successful taking of the federal matriculation examination.

Requirements
For the Federal Matura, the students must be at least 18 years old. In addition, in addition to high resilience and perseverance, in-depth language skills in German, English and another national language (French or Italian) and basic knowledge of mathematics are among the necessary basic skills.
In order to ensure that this is the right way for the students, we will carry out a location assessment with all interested parties in advance.

placement test
As part of the initial consultation, each student receives a set of various placement tests, which can be solved at home.
school recommendation
Based on the evaluation of these tests, a school recommendation is created, which shows which course combination is the most suitable for the student.
Switching to other courses is possible
Due to the regular examinations, we will have a feedback discussion with the students in the first quarter of the main courses MVZ and MBB. If it becomes clear during this conversation that a student has taken over, it is open to him/her to switch from the MVZ to the MBB and the other way around.

The completion of the federally recognized Matura examination enables the students to study at all Swiss universities, technical colleges or higher technical schools in Switzerland.
At the Academic Gateway, all students will take the two-part exam. The first partial examination takes place after the first, the second partial examination after the second semester and is carried out by the Federal Maturity Commission.
language certificate
During school, all students have the opportunity to take a diploma examination in English or in the second national language. The language certificate is internationally recognized.
Free repetition
The Academic Gateway grants students who, despite a attendance rate of at least 95% and the proof of performance of 100%, failed the exam, a complete free repetition.
